Primošten is small town settled on the peninsula and is famous for its indigenous stone houses, churches, the narrow streets of the Mediterranean style, many pebble beaches. It is only 40 kilometers ride from Split, the capital town of Dalmatia. Today, Primošten is also famous for its production of olive oil and wine. Here you can enjoy tasting the wine of Babic and a local food. Vines in this region has a tradition from 8th century B.C., planted by Illyrians and Liburnians and was continued by the Greeks and Romans, and from the 7th century, also by Croats.
