Modern holiday houses near the Plitvice Lakes national park
These two romantic holiday houses made of wood welcome you in a secluded and quiet location, in the midst of the Plitvice Lakes National Park region, the impressive natural phenomenon in Croatia and one of the first natural monuments on the UNESCO world heritage list. They are in the little locality of Rudanovac and provide ideal holiday accommodation for all those who would like to spend a relaxing holiday by lushly forested lakes, with long walks, cycle tours, riding and an abundance of nature.
The 1550m² property boasts two buildings: an 80m² cottage and a 124m² house with four fully equipped studio apartments.
The fenced site provides ample secure parking space for guests’ cars. Four hammocks and four deckchairs invite you to relax and wind down in the garden, but there is no sitting area.
You can explore the varied nature, lakes and caves on one of many hiking and cycling paths, right near the holiday house.
The houses are about 800 metres from the nearest restaurant, while the nearest shops and a petrol station are about 1km away. It is 3km to the nearest supermarket, a pharmacy, a medical centre and a post office. The nearby Plitvice Lakes National Park, a world natural heritage site, is among the most beautiful sights in Europe. The park consists of 16 lakes connected by waterfalls and cave systems. The water runs in cascades from the upper to the lower lakes. Take plenty of time to visit the national park, at least four days are to be recommended. You can explore the park independently or along one of the many recommended routes through the park. The routes mostly consist of a combination of a panoramic train ride, an electric boat ride over Kozjak Lake and hiking sections. At the entrances and in many places there are restaurants and bistros catering to visitors.
Studio on the ground floor for four people with a view of the pine forest This 31m² studio apartment is on the ground floor of the house and is suitable for two adults and two children. It provides a sleeping area with a very comfortable double bed (160 x 200cm) and two bedside tables, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The kitchen unit is equipped with a two-ring hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, cooking utensils and crockery for preparing breakfast and other meals. To the right of it there is a wardrobe with a mirror. A table with upholstered chairs, for planning your trips for the next day, a double sofa bed (167 x 197cm), a wardrobe and a desk complete the living room. The modern, light bathroom is fitted with a shower cubicle, a WC, a towel radiator and a hairdryer.
