The newly renovated Modasa residence is situated on a hillside with a wonderful view of the lake and across Brissago Island to Ascona. The village centre with its shops, post office, bank, restaurants and cafés can be reached in a few minutes via a comfortable stairway, as can the boat landing stage, from where you have connections to the Brissago Islands, Ascona and the Riviera del Gambarogno opposite.Brissago can be easily reached by bus from Locarno and also by boat during the season. Picturesque Ascona and the neighbouring border town of Cannobio, where the famous Mercato takes place on Sundays, are only a few kilometres away.
