Below Soglio and above the historic village of Castasegna, the Chestnut Pavilion is located in a quiet and sunny southern location on the edge of the forest of one of Europe's largest and most important chestnut groves. The Chestnut Pavilion was built as a holiday home, for guests of Casa Roccabella, on a single floor of approx. 95m2 and has a terrace of approx. 22m2, protected by electric awnings that on hot summer days not only provide a pleasantly cool climate in the pavilion, but also offer effective protection against UV radiation.
Entrance hall. Spacious living/dining room with 1 double bed (2 mattresses) and wardrobe. Space with fireplace. Small separate kitchen with dishwasher and oven. Small bedroom with 1 bunk bed. Shower room. Separate WC. Cloakroom with washbasin and mirror. Sunny garden with table, chairs and deck chairs with wonderful view of the mountains. Pergola: stone table and benches in the shade of kiwi trees.

Private pool up to 1.7m deep, unsupervised, July to October (weather permitting).

Castasegna, between St.Moritz and Milan, is a village on the Italian border. Located at an altitude of 686 metres, it enjoys a Mediterranean climate. One can admire fig trees, camellias and wisteria.
In Brentan, above Castasegna, there is a magnificent chestnut forest with an educational chestnut trail. Walking through this magnificent forest is a unique and atmospheric experience in every season. In the village: shop with groceries, household goods, fruit and vegetables, post bus stop, Soglio produce shop with the possibility of guided tours.
