Description

The holiday flat with a living space of 60 m2 is located on the 1st floor of Chalet Steinbock, a typical local wooden chalet. From the balcony you have a marvellous panoramic view of the entire Wildstrubel mountain range. You start your skiing or hiking day directly at the house and the Lenk-Simmental adventure pool is also in the immediate vicinity. The village centre is about 7 minutes' walk away.
Overnight guests in the Lenk-Simmental holiday region can travel free of charge on public transport for excursions in the Simmental and Saanenland from 1 May to 31 October with a valid guest card. In winter, local transport in Lenk is free of charge.

Bathroom The bathroom has a shower/WC with ample storage space. A hairdryer is available.

Kitchen The kitchen is equipped with a 3-ring hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, Tassimo coffee machine, kettle, toaster, fondue and raclette set and a basic supply of spices.

Living room The living room is divided into a dining area with 4-6 seats, a relaxing armchair and a couch. TV/radio/CD are available.

Conditions Maximum occupancy of four persons. Non-smoking flat. Pets are not allowed.

Lenk in the Simmental
The village of Lenk lies at the top of the Simmental in the Bernese Oberland in the wide, flat valley floor in front of what is probably the most beautiful valley end in the Alps, the Wildstrubel. The tranquil holiday resort has around 2,300 inhabitants and can be reached by car or train. The village lies at 1,068 metres above sea level, with the highest point being the Wildstrubel at 3,244 metres above sea level. Simmental wooden chalets and alpine and mountain farming are typical of this traditional, green valley. In winter, the "Adelboden-Lenk... dänk!" ski region is popular and in spring, summer and autumn, people enjoy outdoor adventures.

SUMMER
In summer, the Simmental is a valley of water with impressive waterfalls. The source of the Simme, the "Sibe Brünne" and the Iffig Falls are natural beauties. The green valley offers easy walks and challenging mountain tours. Modern mountain railways transport hikers, bikers and paragliders up the mountain. Alpine and mountain farming characterise the valley and the inhabitants are proud of their traditions and origins. This is celebrated with AlpKultur®.
