Description
Abbiamo acquistato di recente l'appartamento e lo ammoderneremo quest'inverno. Al momento è in condizioni funzionali e molto ordinate e pulite. Non manca nulla : -).
Welcome to our beautiful little panoramic flat. Nestled in an idyllic setting and with the most marvellous view of Lake Maggiore all the way to Italy, the flat has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Bed linen, towels, consumables, fully equipped kitchen, but no dishwasher due to lack of space.
The building faces (south)-west. An additional sun awning on the balcony protects the interior from heating up in summer.
We have recently acquired the flat and have therefore not yet carried out any modernisation work. We took over the flat in an exceptionally well-kept condition and it is fully furnished. If you arrive on a Sunday, you don't have to starve or die of thirst. The bare essentials are there ??. All consumables and cleaning materials are provided. However, we ask for appropriate replacements if an item runs out. Please always replace cleaning cloths / toilet paper.
A fixed WLAN connection is being planned.
Dogs are not allowed for hygienic reasons.

Location description: Orselina is an old part of the village above Locarno. With beautiful old but modernised rústicos as well as the old church and its squares, cafés and restaurants (often attached to hotels) it radiates the typical Ticino flair. From up there you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the whole of Lake Maggiore as far as Italy and the Mogadino plain. The Madonna il Dasso monastery and the cable car up to Monte Cardata are within walking distance. A cog railway runs from there to Locarno. From Orselina there are several hiking trails up into the woods and countless picturesque stairways up to Locarno (15 minutes downhill). Orselina has a municipal administration where you can buy car park tickets and a well-stocked shop with normal prices. You can also buy the obligatory green rubbish bags there. There is a charge for parking on the street up there. Take a closer look, especially in summer. The 3 biscuit connections to and from Locarno are excellent.
