Description

The Villa Piccolo Mondo is a former family hostel. Situated on a terrace above Ranzo in beautiful Gambarogno. The villa was probably built in the first third of the 20th century. The house has six flats. Two of them have large terraces. All flats are simply and functionally furnished. The kitchens and bathrooms offer everything, but are older.
Nestled in a magnificent, beautiful garden with palm trees, an old camellia tree and marvellous views of Lake Maggiore. Public transport is within easy reach. The lake is only a few steep steps away from the house. Ideal for children who want to let off steam in the spacious grounds. There are also plenty of opportunities to play inside the house.

The Gambarogno Riviera is a world of its own. On the left side of Lake Maggiore - from Contone to the Italian-Swiss border - nature has really spared nothing: there is the beautiful Lake Maggiore, a gentle range of hills and the overwhelming sight of the snow-capped mountains. Between the lake and the mountains, you can immerse yourself in a world of traditions and mysterious fragrances, experience contemplative moments in Vairano in the Gambarogno botanical garden and enjoy the breathtaking panorama. Along the mountains and small valleys of the Gambarogno, two hundred kilometres of hiking trails wind their way through chestnut forests and lush pastures past dreamy alpine farms.
