Description

Located in Val d'Illiez, in the canton of Valais, 1200 metres below the Dents du Midi, Chalet de Lara is surrounded by fir trees and mountains. The Portes du Soleil ski resort is very close by.
The chalet borders a nature reserve teeming with peaceful game.

The chalet was built in 1909 and completely renovated in 1998, using quality materials and preserving the authentic style of the Valaisan alpine chalet.
The chalet has a total surface area of 180 m2, 3 bedrooms, a mezzanine, 2 living rooms, a kitchen, a dining room and 2 bathrooms. A flat-screen TV, Apple TV and PS3 are also available. In summer, you can enjoy the terrace and garden and there is a barbecue for grilling. In Champery you can ski in Europe's largest ski area and hire mountain bikes. Geneva international airport is 59 km away. The chalet is designed for a maximum of 5 adults and 2 children. Well-behaved pets are accepted at an additional cost.

Access to the Chalet can be difficult in winter if there is a lot of snow. The road is cleared of snow up to 160 metres from the chalet and access by car is guaranteed up to this point. After that, you'll have a few minutes' walk, but once there, you'll find such silence that you'll think you're alone on earth.

Please keep the chalet clean and tidy before you leave. If the chalet is found to be in an unacceptable state at the end of your stay, we will be obliged to charge you for the extra cleaning time. Please note that we take care of cleaning the oven, and you do not need to clean it.
