Foxes Reach
Set in the heart of the beautiful Wye Valley Are of Outstanding Natural Beauty , a mile above dreaming Tintern Abbey . The cottage is easily reached from M4 at Chepstow ( approx. 9 kms) and M50 at Monmouth ( 12kms) . The cottage is located in a residential hamlet -it is peaceful but not isolated . There are neighbouring houses but the cottage is not overlooked . Convenience to many attractions and activities makes it a great touring/golfing base. Walking is excellent from the doorstep.
Exceptionally well-equipped officially graded 5 star traditional stone cottage which has been updated to provide every modern convenience without loss of character and charm.. Full central heating is included in the rental rate- the house is heated to a minimum of 21C all year- often warmer. We include WiFi. We have USB ports in the wall for easy charging of your devices. Downstairs -open plan dining/kitchen with comprehensive equipment. - siting room with oak floor and woodburner - smart shower room/wc.. Laundry room, Upstairs - 4 bedrooms. ( One queen bed, one double bed, two single bedrooms) -Upstairs bathroom with washbasin, bathtub with dinner plate shower over, WC , shaver socket. Central heating, bed linens, towels ,welcome tray ,included. We accept up to 2 well behaved medium sized pets per booking. We will only accept one pet of a giant breed.
There is a blissful hot tub in a fenced, attractive, sheltered garden. Patio table and chairs (plus umbrella, charcoal barbecue and loungers summer months only)
Off road parking for 2-3 cars.

Fabulous Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty but also has so much to do all year round. Tintern Abbey and River Wye approx. 3 km. Chepstow , Raglan, Monmouth, Skenfrith and White Castles all approx 20 minutes by car. Nelson Museum Monmouth, Chepstow Horse Racecourse , mountain biking, fishing, kayaking. two cinemas, theater, also approx. 20 minutes by car. Star Wars Dr Who, Merlin , Harry Potter and The Huntsman filmed locally at Puzzlewood. Steam railway 30 mins. Royal Forest of Dean 10 minutes. Numerous excellent eating places locally. Very nearest pubs with good food 3kms, Michelin starred restaurant 7 minutes by car. Vineyard and Brewery both in Tintern!
