The house consists of a ground floor and an attic. Downstairs are the living room (with wood-burning stove) and the kitchen, upstairs are two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and toilet.

The house is detached and has a spacious terrace at the back with a dining table, a seat and deck chairs, and afternoon and evening sun. You can also relax at the front.

Nearby Nontron has several large supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, post office, banks, museum, tourist office etc. A little further away is Brantôme, the Venice of the Périgord. Prehistoric caves with wall paintings can be visited nearby. The historic towns of Perigueux and Angoulême are well worth a visit. There are several lakes in the area where you can swim, supervised and with play areas for children.
