Description

The completely restored farmhouse built in 1893 stands on a garden plot of around 1000m². Embankment stairs lead to the adjoining site right by the Oste, inviting you to spend a romantic evening by the river.

The 112m² of living space on two floors provide ample space for four to six people, plus an additional child. There are three beds (a double bed 180cm wide and two French beds 140cm wide) and a pull-out sofa bed. The ground floor has a kitchen that goes through to the living room. Up to ten people can sit at the large dining table. The interior is rustic in a country style, with a mixture of antique and new varnished pine furniture creating a cosy and homely atmosphere. Many modern kitchen appliances are provided, as well as a 3D TV, a Playstation 2 and a Playstation 3 with many games, a DVD player, a radio, a CD and MP3 player, a drinks fridge, an American fridge etc. The bathroom is fitted with a big corner bath. The shower room on the upper floor has just been newly refurbished. The hallway leads to the open studio, divided into a living and sleeping area. There is a second TV for watching TV in bed. There is an adjoining shower room and a further bedroom. The house provides wireless Internet access, a washing machine and a drying room. A free child safety gate for the stairs, a cot and a highchair can be provided. The garden comprises a garden shed, a terrace, garden furniture, a grill, a sandpit, swings, a slide and a canopy swing.

The house is 1.5km from the actual village centre. Oberndorf has a bank, post office, shop, doctor and restaurants. Trip destinations in the Wingst or by the Hemmoor chalk lake are a five to ten-minute drive away. If you are drawn towards the North Sea then it is about a 30-minute drive to Cuxhaven.
