Description

The cosy holiday apartment is on a quiet side street in Osterbrücken and was newly built in 1997. Osterbrücken is part of Sankt Wendel, which is in the Saarland in the beautiful Ostertal and has around 700 inhabitants. The apartment can be reached in a few minutes along the A62. The apartment is on the ground floor and provides around 60m² of living space and a roofed terrace of 12m². The apartment is at ground level and barrier-free and is suitable for four to five people. The bedroom is furnished with two single beds (100 x 200cm), a wardrobe, bedside tables, a radio alarm, bedside tables and satellite TV. Another room has a single bed (90 x 200cm), a dresser, an alarm and a bedside lamp. The living and dining room provides a dining corner, a living room cupboard, a sofa bed (140 x 200cm), a stereo system, satellite LED TV and a DVD player. The built-in kitchen is fully-equipped with a ceramic hob, extractor fan, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, filter coffee and pads machine, toaster, kettle, egg boiler and electric multi-pan, as well as crockery and cookware, a basic selection of condiments, vinegar, oil, sugar and salt. The bathroom has a walk-in wellness shower suitable for the disabled, a washbasin, a WC, a towel radiator and a hairdryer. The hallway has a dresser, a wardrobe and a safe, as well as a desk with an office chair. Cleaning products, an ironing board, iron, clothes horse, vacuum cleaner and freezer are in a separate room. The apartment has under-floor heating in all rooms. The doors in the living room and bedroom open onto the roofed terrace with garden furniture, deckchairs, an awning and a parasol. The outdoor kitchen is equipped with crockery, a fridge, coffee machine, two cooking rings and a sink. You can share use of a roofed grill area in the garden, as well as a garden shed and a WC. A free parking space is available in the courtyard. Telephone and wireless Internet access are free, along with coffee pads and tea bags. Bed linen, hand, shower and kitchen towels are provided. A child’s bed and highchair, as well as a washing machine on the second floor where the owner lives, can be used if required. A free bread rolls delivery service is available, with a baker bringing goods to the doorstep. Pets and smoking in the apartment are not allowed. The apartment is also secured with smoke alarms. The beautiful landscape, the many places of interest and the many recreational possibilities make the St. Wendel area popular and interesting. The town itself has made a name for itself as a sports town due to international and national sports events, its historical old town, and well-developed cycling, mountain biking and walking trails. The Wendelinius leisure park with an illuminated sports circuit, a golf park with nine and 27 holes, a skater park, a climbing park and hall, sports pool and wellness centre invite sporty visitors to visit. You can go on trips nearby to the Bostalsee leisure centre, Saarschleife, Idar-Oberstein, Trier, the Zweibrücken outlet centre, the Moselle, Luxembourg, the Alsace etc. Beach volleyball and bowling can be found at Bostalsee, a sauna and solarium in Freisen-Oberkirchen, about 4km away. You can also go fishing in various waters in the area. There is a shopping market 2km away.
