Description
Our brand new MARIANNE holiday flat for up to 4 people is located in the middle of the beautiful southern Brandenburg village of Jeßnigk, part of the municipality of Schönewalde, in the Elbe-Elster district on a former farm. The modern 50 square metre apartment has a large fitted kitchen (cooker, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer), a smart bathroom, a beautiful bedroom with box-spring bed and a sofa bed in the living area.
Pension Jericho used to be home to pigs, cows, horses, ducks, chickens and rabbits. Like all flats, the Marianne flat has a separate entrance.
From here you can quickly reach many interesting destinations. The Jericho family guesthouse is the perfect starting point for day trips, for example to the Spreewald, about 50 kilometres away - famous for its gherkins, boat trips and canoe tours. Berlin (120 km), Dresden (110 km), Leipzig (100 km), Cottbus (90 km) or Torgau (35 km) are not far away.
In the district town of Herzberg/Elster with its beautiful historic old town - only 9 kilometres away - there are many supermarkets, shops and restaurants. Highlights include St Mary's Church with its valuable ceiling paintings and restored organ, Grochwitz Park and Castle, the botanical garden and the zoo. Herzberg has a summer swimming pool and a football stadium. In Falkenberg/Elster, 20 kilometres away, you can swim in the Kiebitzsee lake or go pedal boating. In winter, the Wonnemar adventure pool in Bad Liebenwerda is a popular destination.
