Bicycle rental and pony rides (free of charge) are available. Make yourself at home in the large garden. The farm has a pony, chickens, rabbits, cows and some cats. In the direct surroundings you can go hiking or visit attractive and historical towns like Trendelburg or discover the famous nature parks Kellerwald or Wesertal. Popular excursion destinations or leisure activities in the region: canoe trip on the Diemel, Weser thermal bath in Bad Karlshafen (12km), Kassel (35km), Weser tour and much more... A highlight of the region is the Sleeping Beauty Castle Sababurg with its zoo. The many cycle and hiking paths along the Weser and Diemel provide an active holiday if required.
