Derveni is a coastal village with the flair of a typical Greek village. Crystal clear sea, pebble beaches, beautiful sunsets, regional cuisine, no mass tourism. Bakeries, grocery shops, bars, cafés and tavernas are within easy walking distance. The location of the house is ideal for day trips to the most important ancient sites and for excursions to the mountain and wine regions.
The Acropolis is only 140 km away. Hiking enthusiasts can follow the European long-distance hiking trail E4 along the "Odontotos" railway line from Diakofto to Kalavryta. The beach of Derveni has been awarded the Blue Flag by the European Union several times for its good water quality.
