The Capri fresco
To be ten minutes from the Famous Piazzetta of the halcyon days of the Dolce Vita and at the same
time hidden from crowds and noise by a high wall in one of the magic corners of the island is to be
to taken back to the Capri of the “grand tour”. The beauty of the place and its peacefulness has
enchanted many writers and artists; Marguerite Yourcenar stayed here for long.
A little white courtyard leads to the front door of the apartment available for guests. The apartment
is in a typical Capri stylish villa: it has a cosy little terrace overlooking the gardens and a
breathtaking seascape. At the end of the corridor you’ll find a sitting room opening onto the cosy
small terrace: on the wall there is an original fresco of the late nineteen century representing a
bucolic moment of life. In the kitchenette, full equipped, you could enjoy preparing tasteful italian
dishes. In the bedroom (double bed), a large wardrobe will afford you to have everything in order,
while in the bathroom you could find a bathtub.

Capri, as a whole, are best enjoyed in mid-season as August can be very busy on the island: best
months are April, May and June then September and October

time it could be a romantic getaway, enjoying - in perfect peace and silence - the natural beauty of
the island (Blue Grotto, Faraglioni, Natural Arch, Mount Solaro), its stunning views and walks.

La Casarella in Capri is 10 minutes on foot (there aren't other ways because the house is in the
town) from the Piazzetta. To get to "la Casarella": once in the harbour, you can get the piazzetta by
taxi or with the funicolare, then take "via Longano" (you can use a carrier from the harbour for the
