This lively village on the Veerse Meer is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts, with opportunities for sailing, supping or renting a sloop at Delta Marina. But there is also plenty to do on land! Walk or cycle along the extensive network of junctions, stroll through the cosy shops in the centre and enjoy a delicious meal in one of the atmospheric restaurants. Discover the rich history at the Nicholas Church with the famous bell 'Suzanne' or admire windmill De Korenbloem. Kortgene offers a versatile and relaxed experience for everyone. In the summer period from 7 July to 29 August, the bicycle and pedestrian ferry sails between Kortgene and Wolphaartsdijk, an ideal way to complete the Veerse Meer tour or to shorten a bike ride. Many cyclists make the crossing to explore the surroundings of North and South Beveland, such as a visit to the market in Goes or a trip through the Zak van Zuid-Beveland. A nice short route is from Kortgene to the Zandkreeksluis, with the bicycle ferry to Wolphaartsdijk and back again. Pets allowed, max. 2. High chair and cot are available as standard.
