This holiday home offers the best of both worlds. On one hand, you’ll find peace and the stunning rural surroundings of Zeeland. Wake up to the sound of birds, enjoy breakfast with a view over endless fields, and end your day with a breathtaking sunset – this is what a real holiday feels like! On the other hand, the lively hotspots of Walcheren are within easy reach. Fancy a day at the beach? The dunes and sandy shores are just a stone’s throw from your accommodation.

Cozy Accommodation with Character

This charming, single-level holiday home has been lovingly decorated with a cozy atmosphere. It combines rustic charm with Zeeland influences, making you feel at home instantly. Though compact, the house is designed to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The seating area features two comfortable recliners in front of the TV. Turn them slightly, and you can enjoy the beautiful view through the classic windows. There is also a dining table for two, perfect for a romantic dinner or a cozy breakfast.

Although the kitchen does not have a stove, it offers plenty of amenities to prepare simple meals. With a combination microwave, refrigerator, kettle, filter coffee maker, and a Nespresso machine, you can easily whip up something delicious.

Through the sliding doors in the living room, you enter the bedroom. This cozy bedroom features a double bed (160x200 cm) that promises a good night’s sleep. Please note that you must enter and exit the bed from the foot end. A wardrobe provides ample space for your clothing.

From the bedroom, you access the bathroom, which includes a walk-in shower, toilet, and sink with storage. There is plenty of room for your towels and toiletries.

Charming Garden & Private Parking

The charming garden, surrounded by a beech hedge, offers a perfect place to relax. With a bistro set, you can enjoy the shade on warm summer days, thanks to the north-facing position of the garden.

The house accommodates a maximum of two adults. Unfortunately, there is not enough space to place a crib in the bedroom for children up to two years old. Pets are also not allowed. You can conveniently park your car in the private parking space next to the house.

Beach & City Within Reach

Walcheren, with Koudekerke as one of its charming villages, is a region that will steal your heart. Surrounded by the waters of the North Sea, the Veerse Meer, and the Westerschelde, this area offers a variety of landscapes. From vast beaches to lush forests, there is always something new to discover.

Koudekerke itself, just a stone’s throw from the coast, exudes a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. Within a 500 to 1000-meter radius, you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay, from cozy cafés and restaurants serving local delicacies to various shops. Nature lovers can explore numerous cycling and hiking trails that lead to Walcheren’s most beautiful spots. And of course, there’s the wide sandy beach, where you can breathe in the fresh sea air and watch the sun set over the horizon.

The capital of Zeeland, Middelburg, is just a short bike or car ride away. The city is steeped in history, from the imposing Abbey with its beautiful cloisters to the Lange Jan tower, offering panoramic views over the city and its surroundings.

Vlissingen, located at the mouth of the Westerschelde, is a city that lives with and through the sea. Its long boulevard provides a unique view of passing ships – so close you can almost touch them.
