Quietly nestled on a sunny hillside this comfortable retreat is surrounded by the most beautiful landscapes in an area known for its wine, home-made dry-cured meats, bread, spirits and above all hospitality.

The apartment provides the ideal holiday escape for groups of family or friends. Guests can relax in the eat-in kitchen which has been furnished with a flatscreen HDTV, a dining table, and provides everything required to prepare simple every day meals including; a cooker hob, an oven, a microwave and a fridge freezer.

There is also a spacious balcony with an incredible view of the surrounding area, furnished with an outside dining table and chairs - the perfect spot for leisurely alfresco meals or drinks at the end of a busy day exploring.

The property is situated on the outskirts of Gorenja Vas pri Šmarjeti a small village located in southeastern Slovenia. The region is renowned for its viticulture and visitors can explore local vineyards and wineries (Vinska klet Colnar winery is a 15-minute drive) to sample wine and learn about the winemaking process.

For those seeking more relaxation the Šmarješke Toplice thermal baths is a 7-minute drive away and the Grad Otocec golf course is approximately a 13-minute drive away. Another popular excursion is a day trip to Slovenia’s capital city Ljubljana (a 50-minute drive) where visitors can explore the historic Old Town and visit cultural attractions such as Ljubljana Castle and the Triple Bridge. The nearest restaurant and supermarket are in Šmarjeta a 4-minute drive away.

The closest international airport is Ljubljana Jože Pucnik Airport (LJU) approximately a one-hour drive away from the accommodation.
