Menorca is beautiful all year round! <<< Menorca's most beautiful south coast: The house is situated in a charming location with unobstructed views over the countryside, resembling a finca/ casa de campo but attached to an urbanisation and far enough away from the tourist centre. From the roof (actually not to be used and only at your own risk) and from the barbecue you can see the sea and a lot of undeveloped land. Beach, sea and supermarkets, pharmacy, restaurants, all infrastructure are within walking distance (more comfortable in a short drive in the heat.) Overall, thanks to the garden, lots of privacy and larger than average pool (13m) and many nice seating areas, some equipment, comfortable beds a very nice feel-good home with a rustic, Mediterranean style (not a 5 star hotel). Plus the fabulous, undeveloped beaches and bays with crystal clear water, old harbours and culinary discoveries, fiestas, etc. Have a look on google under Calas or Playas or Fiestas Menorca. The house beach, 3 min by car or 20 min on foot is great and offers many possibilities and good, simple restaurants. The house is bordered by an old wall on farmland, where you can occasionally greet a few sheep or a donkey. It doesn't smell. Nature such as butterflies, lizards, geckos and tortoises delight the children. Birds such as kites, hoopoes and others can also be observed next door. Menorca also has a great prehistoric culture. One of the top 3 most influential art galleries in the world is also located on Menorca, on a harbour island that you can visit. One of the world's most beautiful clubs and chill-out terraces built into caves and cliffs is within walking distance. +++ the calendar is usually up to date but not guaranteed. Please enquire. The house is for self use. Please contact us if you have any questions. +++ s. See photos. We bought the house because of its beautiful location and charm. I visited Menorca as a child in the late 70s and still love the island. As described in the furnishings (photos may differ slightly - we mostly modernise - and the sea air gives a more rustic feel to some of the household appliances but why throw it away if it works). You can arrange your own holiday, cook, enjoy under the palm tree, extra separate laundry room with extra 2nd fridge, etc., own lemon tree, lavender, rosemary. A few toys and crawling mats and a child seat are also available. A baby cot can be arranged. Music system and 4K Smart TV and WIFI and books are also available. A final cleaning is available for normal use after your stay. The price should be included in the booking as a separate charge. Also the tourist tax and deposit. +++ We want our beautiful holiday home to be well preserved. Therefore, it is not suitable for party holidays and dirty finches, but that you as a tenant can enjoy like a 'home away from home' / holiday home with family, friends, partners. We are happy if you can relax. +++ Very beautiful surroundings! Menorca is a jewel. The beach of CALA EN PORTER is very nice, also for snorkelling, kayaking, etc.. Hiking is also very good. Menorca has fortunately retained its unique charm over many decades and offers everything your heart desires from our point of view. Administrative matters: Lex Spacialis: It is always advisable for you to take out travel cancellation insurance as a traveller. Use of the house and grounds (approx. 550 m2) is at your own risk and responsibility. The pool as shown in the photos is not fenced. Please note for non-swimmers. The pool has steps and a shallow area of approx. 1 metre, which then leads into the depths. There is a direct path without a lock from the terrace to the garden and pool. A POOL FENCE can be ordered for an extra charge, but non-swimmers must not be left out of sight. The house is in good to very good condition and should remain so. We recommend that holidaymakers take out liability insurance for all eventualities. Damaged items should be reported and replaced or repaired by arrangement. Normally nothing happens. Tenants are liable for themselves, their fellow travellers, children and adults and towards third parties for any damage or accidents. Among other things: The old walls made of old boulders in the garden are quasi old Menorcan cultural heritage and should not be climbed or played with. The veranda ballustrade must not be used for sitting, the roof terrace is not highly secured and should be entered at your own risk, the roof with roof tiles should not be entered at all. The house is a non-smoking house (please leave smoking outside clean) and pets are not allowed (there are enough animals in nature : ) ). A deposit may be required and would be stated in the advert. Subject to minor changes. For health reasons we have no air conditioning so far, but ceiling fans and standing fans. The mosquito nets on the windows are magnetic so that the shutters can be operated and good air circulation can be created, especially at night in summer. We are happy to provide tips for activities, car hire, places to visit, culinary delights, hiking trails and secret paths, etc. Enjoy your holiday. Menorca is fabulous! *Short admin note: This web/platform here offers deposit and tourist tax in cash on site or by credit card as the only choice - strange. But we can only accept this by bank transfer please and refund the deposit accordingly by bank transfer. Unfortunately, this doesn't work automatically with the booking, even if we would like it to. The platform's support team told me that the final cleaning, tourist tax, deposit and all additional costs must be settled directly between the landlord and tenant. These costs are of course inherent parts and obligations of the booking. But this can be arranged perfectly via IBAN and in writing.
