Description

The 200-year-old farmhouse is situated on a 7,500 m2 finca (plot of land). Despite a complete remodelling, the charm and original character of this old house has been preserved. The mature garden surrounding the house is planted with Canary palms and Mediterranean plants and trees, a heated pool is located in the very private part of the second terrace and provides space for total relaxation.Guatiza is a small old village with about 400 inhabitants, which nestles harmoniously in a valley with its white houses. It is located in the lower northern part of the island and forms the backdrop for the 200-year-old, completely renovated farmhouse. The artist Cesar Manrique planned and designed an interesting cactus garden in Guatiza, making the small village famous. The villa is located somewhat off the main village road (a well-stocked supermarket is a 5-minute walk away), embedded in the typical rural everyday life of the village, and the kitchen and dining room are very spacious and laid out in one area. The green-pigmented cement floor, the large stainless steel cooker and the bright country-style kitchen offer the perfect blend of modern quality of life and original country style with a Moroccan influence. Eight people can sit comfortably at the handmade cedar wood table and the spacious living room with an integrated fireplace is very inviting. The wooden beamed ceilings in the living room are around 8 metres high. Sofas and armchairs come from Italy. There are Moroccan carpets in all rooms. The very high ceilings of the individual rooms with their original plastered walls create an open and pleasant ambience and emphasise the harmoniously designed interior. You will find a successful, stylish and comfortable feel-good atmosphere.in the front area is a patio with heated pool. This area is not visible from the outside and therefore creates a very private atmosphere. An old olive tree, planted tubs and a pergola with a wooden table and seating complete the picture. There are also four wooden sun loungers and a gas barbecue. At the rear is a large garden with mature trees, an exotic mix of flowers and wonderful views of the volcanic mountains. You can also admire unique sunsets from the spacious wooden terrace. There are also additional sun loungers and seating here. The exclusive villa with its harmonious integrity of old and modern provides the perfect setting for a peaceful, relaxing and comfortable holiday. The double garage with automatic garage door contains mountain bikes, a surfboard and a boogie board as well as tennis rackets and 2 sets of golf clubs. In addition to a sauna, there is a fully equipped fitness room. In the adjoining laundry room there is a washing machine and ironing equipment. Beach towels are also stored there.
