The eastern part of Øland is the slightly quieter part with less traffic on the roads and fewer people on the east coast beaches. There are wonderful excursion opportunities both south and north on this beautiful island. You come to Øland via the very beautiful Øland Bridge from the Småland coastal town of Kalmar.
