Description

In our cosy Sennenstübli at 1000m above sea level, the Alpstein is closer to you than ever before. The small chalet with its optimally equipped kitchen, a bathroom with WC and shower, the bedroom with double bed and the small cosy parlour with TV and radio invites you to linger. However, we recommend the panoramic TV programme on the Alpstein. Above the parlour there is a dormitory that can accommodate up to three people. The large garden and terrace provide space to relax and enjoy nature. You can enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets with a view of the Alpstein. The breathtaking view over the Alpstein, hills and countryside also invites you to hike, do sports and go for walks. The cottage is perfectly located for hikes or winter sports holidays with snowshoeing, cross-country skiing or sledging. If you like it simple and close to nature, you've come to the right place. With us you can escape from everyday life and get a taste of country life. You are also welcome to take a look at our farm, not far from the holiday home. Fresh milk directly from the cow and eggs from our chickens can be obtained from us, the holiday home is located outside the village there is a one-way street to the house. Please note that a 4x4 car is necessary in winter.

Other sports and leisure activities: Our surroundings offer you many possibilities for sports.
For example, we have the Säntispark nearby for water fun, sauna, wellness, bowling, minigolf, billiard table. In summer, the swimming pools in our neighbouring municipalities also offer swimming opportunities.
In St. Gallen you will find the climbing hall.
The Kronberg with its toboggan run and climbing park are also not far from us.
There are many bike tours to ride.
Enjoy a beautiful hiking day in the Alpstein or right on your doorstep many different hiking trails such as the Rond um Bühler, theme trail.
The cross-country ski trails and winter hiking trails are also not far from us.

Excursion possibilities: The Eastern Switzerland Guest Card Oskar is available for stays of two nights or more. You can use all public transport in the Ostwind network free of charge, even on your day of arrival. Experience
You can also enjoy great holiday offers such as cable cars, boat trips, museums, minigolf, city tours and much more at a reduced price or even free of charge.

Location description: The municipality of Bühler is located in the beautiful canton of Appenzell Ausserhoden. The saying "small but nice" sums it up perfectly. There are 6 restaurants offering culinary delights. In the village shop you will find everything you need for everyday use. During the summer holidays there is a bouncy castle park for young and old at the football pitch. Our holiday flat is about 3km from the village centre, but is easy to reach by car. If the weather is bad, the town of St. Gallen, 12km away, is ideal for a shopping trip.
