Description

Our chalet in Bürglen is the ideal starting point if you are a European skier or snowboarder who appreciates variety and short journey times. Located between the three nearby ski areas of Hasliberg (18 min.), Mörlialp (23 min.) and Melchsee-Frutt (30 min.), you can reach the slopes in just a few minutes and make the most of your time in the snow.

Hasliberg impresses with its altitude and challenging pistes, including black runs, and offers a wide variety for advanced skiers. Mörlialp is more compact and particularly family-friendly - ideal for beginners and small children, and also attractively priced. Melchsee-Frutt is nestled in the mountains and is considered particularly snow-sure, perfect for anyone looking for guaranteed powder snow. Both Mörlialp and Melchsee-Frutt also offer tobogganing opportunities and provide additional winter fun.

The holiday flat itself is a completely renovated 2½-room flat in a traditional chalet, cosily furnished with lots of wood, a large king-size bed and a fully equipped kitchen. From the living area and kitchen, you have direct access to the sunny balcony with dining and seating area, with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Away from traffic and noise, but only a short drive from Interlaken and Lucerne, the chalet combines tranquillity with excellent access to three of Switzerland's best ski resorts. A free covered car park is available. The flat is designed for 2 people and guarantees you a relaxing winter holiday.

We love skiing and winter in the Swiss Alps. As Swiss ourselves, we are avid skiers and know the best pistes, snowy landscapes and winter highlights of the region.

We used to be guests in holiday flats ourselves and appreciate being able to organise our stay flexibly with self-catering. Now we are hosts and have lovingly renovated and furnished our holiday home in Bürglen.

We want our guests from all over the world to enjoy a relaxing winter holiday and feel at home in the heart of the beautiful Swiss Alps.

In addition to skiing, Bürglen offers a wide range of winter activities. From the chalet, you can reach Lake Lungern in just a few minutes, ideal for winter walks along the shore. Fishing enthusiasts can visit the "Lungernsee fishing paradise", where fishing licences and equipment are also available in winter. Fans of "Crash Landing on You" can explore the nearby filming location, just a 12-minute walk from the chalet, with breathtaking views over the frozen lake.

The region also provides easy access to top destinations: Interlaken, Harder Kulm, Jungfraujoch, Titlis, Lucerne with Chapel Bridge and of course the ski resorts themselves. By car, you can reach Lucerne in 30 minutes, Interlaken in 38 minutes and Grindelwald in 1 hour. The public transport network is excellent: Kaiserstuhl OW railway station is a 15-minute walk away. From there you can quickly reach Lungern (6 min.), Lucerne (1 h), Interlaken (1 h) or Grindelwald (2 h).
