Description

The Spycher is your very own personal home in the Emmental - only more romantic.

Interior:
The Spycher offers space for two people (not suitable for children). On the ground floor there is a modern eat-in kitchen, which is equipped with two hotplates, small dining table (space for max. 4 people), Nesspresso coffee machine, fridge, separate freezer compartment, dishwasher and various kitchen utensils.
On the upper floor there is a double bed 1.60 x 2m, clothes rack incl. hanger, a sideboard with two reading lamps. The bathroom is open to the bedroom and is also very modern with a toilet, floor-level shower and a washbasin with a mirror. Bed linen, hand and bath towels are provided.

House and outdoor area:
In 2020, the small Spycher was given an interior extension, which was designed and remodelled with respect and the origin of the Spycher. When you enter the Spycher, you are surprised by an unexpected style. The architecture is a combination of old and modern and has a cosy and homely feel.
Everything you need is there. The Spycher is set in a spacious garden with a pergola for shared use. There is a car park right next to the house. There are also various small outdoor seating areas and a deckchair.

Surroundings:
Despite the rural location, you are not far from the town of Burgdorf. The beautiful old town and Burgdorf Castle can be reached in just 10 minutes by car. 30 km from here you can visit Bern's bears, stroll through the arcades and marvel at the cosy hustle and bustle of our capital. For those who prefer the great outdoors, you can even be in the Bernese Oberland in just 1 hour.

Experience a piece of Emmental history, relax actively and rest pleasurably. Spend the night in the Spycher in a more secluded and personalised setting than in a hotel.

Location description: As connoisseurs and nature lovers, you've come to the right place - we Heimiswilers are independent. We brew our own Heimiswilerhärz beer, distil Heimiswiler whisky and "alte Spycher Zwätschge", have a friendly Volg shop and a butcher's shop that even supplies the Coop Burgdorf, and both the Herzroute and the Jakobsweg pass through Heimiswil - which is certainly no coincidence. The so-called 1000-year-old yew tree on the Heimiswil coat of arms actually exists. Less than 20 minutes' walk from the Spycher "dür d`Hohle uf", it stands modestly but imposingly by the wayside.
