Description
Le Clapotis is a family chalet set in a large plot of land directly on the shore of Lac de Joux. It has 4 bedrooms with a total of 9 beds (2-2-2-3). The ground floor comprises a large room with a fireplace and a well-equipped kitchen. Two single bikes are available. A rowing boat is available, as are lifejackets for adults and children.
The chalet has pellet central heating and solar thermal cells. There is a bathroom on each floor (bath on the first floor, shower on the ground floor).
Free Wi-Fi. There is no television. Behind the chalet is a large meadow, ideal for sporting or relaxing activities, as well as a hut with an old ping pong table. There is a covered fireplace and a natural terrace in the trees.
The chalet is 10m from the lake and its small pebble beach. A rowing boat is available for use on the lake.
The train stop is 500m away (an 8-minute walk), and the main shops are 5km away (reachable by train, once an hour).
Excursion options: climb Dent-de-Vaulion, Mont Tendre, excursion to the Risoux forest at Roche Champion.
