Attractive comfort chalet in a ski in - ski out location at 1,900 m altitude, with open fireplace and free WLAN. The chalet is located in the middle of the ski area (~150 m), accessible by car, on the alpine meadows of the Alpage de Thyon, above Les Collons, near the Etherolla 4-seater express chairlift (~350 m). On the ground floor is the cosy, bright living area with a cosy corner fireplace; ideal for relaxing after a long day of skiing or hiking. A staircase leads to the mezzanine/gallery with sofa, which serves as an additional reading and lounge area and has a large flatscreen cable TV. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped. It has a Jura coffee machine. Direct access to the spacious balcony. Breathtaking panoramic view of the Valais Alps with the Val d'Hérens and the four-thousand metre Dent Blanche.
On the ground floor there is a bedroom with a double bed (200 x 160 cm) and a 4-person room with 2 bunk beds (200 x 80 cm). A bathroom with bath and WC; another bathroom with shower. Also on this floor is the drying room with tumble dryer and washing machine. This has direct outside access to the snow and the garden with lawn.
The upper floor has a bedroom with two single beds that can be joined to form a double bed (200 x 90 cm), a bedroom with a double bed (200 x 160 cm), a bathroom with shower and WC, as well as a terrace and the south-west-facing balcony.
Access to the chalet from the road via a stepped path (~10 m difference in altitude). Private parking ~50 m from the chalet for 2 vehicles, public parking ~150 m.
The restaurants and shops of Collons 1850 are only approx. 800 m away. Les Collons 1800 is approx. 2 km away. In the pleasant ski and holiday resort you will find various shops, restaurants, après-ski bars, a bank, a post office, ski hire and a ski school. There is an indoor swimming pool and childcare centre (from 18 months; during the winter season) in Thyon 2000, 5 km away. Winter hiking and snowshoeing are possible directly from the chalet.

Ski info Altitude of chalet ~1900 m, ski area up to 3,330 m (Mont Fort glacier). Distance from the ski slope ~150 m, to the chairlift ~350 m; it is possible to ski right up to the chalet (not groomed; at your own risk). The lift provides access to the entire top ski area of Les Collons - Verbier - Quatre Vallées. "Skiing at the highest level" with 410 kilometres of pistes and numerous fantastic ski routes. Ideal, wide family pistes in the vicinity of Les Collons. From Greppon Blanc (2700 m), the wonderful deep-snow descent "L'Eteygeon" (not marked or groomed; at your own risk) over 1,300 metres in altitude into a quiet side valley; return by bus. Large "Centralpark" snow park near Thyon. Outdoor artificial ice rink in Les Collons, free admission. Ski bus stop ~800 m. Ski pass: up to 20% ski pass discount - depending on the season - on the normal price for the entire Les Collons - Verbier - 4 Vallées area and for the local Printze sub-area from a 6-day pass; also applies to children, young people and senior citizens.

Summer info The chalet has garden furniture and an outdoor barbecue. Les Collons has a lot to offer in spring, summer and autumn, especially the various hiking and mountain bike tours as well as the possibility of downhill skiing on the Trotinette attract visitors. The large network of hiking and mountain bike trails can be accessed directly from the chalet. You can walk along the "Suonen" - former irrigation canals - with only slight inclines. Other activities on offer include horse riding, climbing, gliding and bowling. A stroll through the historic town of Sion/Sitten, the capital of Valais, and a boat trip on the underground lake of St-Léonard are well worthwhile. Another highlight is the 285 metre-high Grande Dixence dam. The bathing lake Les Iles in the Rhone Valley is approx. 20 km away.
