Description
Lumbrein is a pretty farming village at 1400 metres above sea level with around 200 inhabitants, situated on a sunny slope. It offers a panoramic hiking area and is close to the Val Lumnezia / Obersaxen ski area, which has a ski piste right down to the village. In summer, you can relax at the small "Davos-Munts" bathing lake.
The village is easily accessible by public transport, there are hourly connections from Zurich and post buses run from Ilanz until the early evening hours.
Our flat is at ground level with unobstructed views of the mountains opposite. The boldly towering Piz Terri at the head of the Val Lumnezia valley stands out.
A practical feature is that the cellar compartment is located directly opposite the flat entrance and can be shared. In the house there is a table tennis room, space for skis and boots, a drying room, washing machine and tumble dryer. The small La Muota holiday complex includes a children's playground and a cosy barbecue hut.
Breakfast on the terrace is particularly nice. This is often possible in spring or late autumn.
The flat is practically furnished. It has a bedroom with a double bed and one with two single beds, as well as a living and dining room with a large table and corner bench. There is a TV and radio as well as games to keep boredom at bay. The kitchen is well equipped: 2 electric hotplates, pressure cooker, coffee machine...
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
