Welcome to the house "Im Schloss"!

We offer you appartments in the house "Im Schloss" (an old, rustic house) in the center of the village Seats around the house, farm shop in the house and a little supermarket in the village.

Summertime:
- Our guests are really welcome to help us at the farm (cows and goats) or to look around on our farm.
- There are some nice hiking trails around our village for families or also for mountaineers on the higher mountains.
- Near the river (Rhein) there ist a braai with goals to play football.
- Others: Climbing park (San Bernardino), museums, churches, ruins, gorges (Viamala and Roffla) etc.

Wintertime:
- Sledge trail (1.5 km)
- Winter hiking trails to all the villages of the valley (Hinterrhein, Medel, Splügen und Sufers)
- Good initial point for ski touring.
- The ski area (Splügen-Tambo with 30km slopes) ist just 5 minutes away by ca
- Cross-country skiing is possible on 40km pists (start near our house) from Nufenen until Splugen.

The termal bath of Andeer is just 20 minutes away by car or bus and a good relaxing place for snowy or (in summer) rainy days.

Apartment in the ground floor with rooms in the first floor, simple but cosy.

The entrance (cloakroom) is arranged in a vestibule of the kitchen. The kitchen is the "initial point" for the passage into the living room and the bath room.
There is a little timber stair from the living room up to the double room (double bed) on the 1st floor. This stair is an old historical stair beside the tile stove. There is also a width stair (official corridor of the house) up to the first floor for the double room. The access to the 4-bed room (4 single beds) is just possible through the double room.
The bedrooms have electric furnace. The kitchen and the living room are heated with the tile stove (old oven with timber heating). For this type of heating you need know-how in timber heating. If you don't have this know-how: no problem, we will help you to get it!

Conditions and extras
Non-smoking studio, pets on request, cot on demand. Parking in front of the house. Shelter for bicycles, motorcycles, skis existing.
