Spending the night here, with a unique view over the Appenzellerland as far as the Säntis, is an experience in all seasons.in the stylishly renovated, listed house on the historic village square of Rehetobel, old building fabric is combined with modernity.the five-storey, stately house has served several purposes in its 230 years. Where there is now a pretty "Beizli", the "Gasthaus Dorf5", with a wonderful garden inviting you to linger, there used to be the Rehetobel post office.the upper floors, which served as a telegraph office and business premises, now house three flats with a high standard of finish.the spacious, light-flooded flat offers a 180 degree view, a beautiful balcony and spacious living rooms with a fireplace. Sliding doors allow the rooms to be converted according to requirements, while the natural building fabric with lots of wood and the generous furnishings are of a high technical and aesthetic standard. The central location in the Appenzeller Vorderland is ideal for exploring the Alpstein region, the nearby Lake Constance region and the extremely attractive city of St.Gallen.The flat on the second floor offers plenty of space for two to four people and you will find many cosy places to linger. Cooking in the modern kitchen is a pleasure - or would you prefer to be spoilt in the "Beizli" downstairs? for more than four people we recommend the "Alpsteinpanorama" flat in the same building.

Excursion possibilities: Rehetobel is an ideal starting point for many interesting excursions - be it to St. Gallen with its monastery district (UNESCO World Heritage Site) or to the Säntis massif with its mountain railways and hiking trails or to Lake Constance with its cosy little towns and beautiful beaches.
