Enjoy a few stress-free holiday days in our family-friendly region in beautiful natural surroundings. Whether you prefer peace and quiet, relaxing in nature or want to conquer the region through sport. At the end of your holiday, you should return home satisfied and well rested and have fond memories of our region. The municipality of Flühli-Sörenberg is the tourist centre of the UNESCO Entlebuch Biosphere. The total area of the biosphere is 394 square kilometres and hardly any other region has so many natural treasures in such a small area as the "Wild West of Lucerne". Chalet Gemseli is in a quiet location and is approx. 10 minutes' walk from the village centre and approx. 3 minutes' walk from the nearest ski lift. The flat is close to the "Flühhütten" bus stop and can accommodate 9 people. The flat has been classified as a 3-star flat by the Swiss Tourism Federation.

Excursion possibilities: Winter: The family-friendly Sörenberg winter sports area is right on the doorstep. You can expect 53 kilometres of well-prepared and varied pistes in all levels of difficulty and other winter sports options such as cross-country skiing and numerous winter hiking trails. The local, large indoor swimming pool can be visited free of charge in winter with a multi-day ski pass. Summer: The Unesco Biosphere Entlebuch in the heart of Switzerland offers numerous excursion possibilities. The Mooraculum moor adventure park on the Rossweid is very popular with families. Sörenberg is also a mecca for hikers and bikers!

Sörenberg Card: Ride the mountain railways for free as often as you like - this is possible in summer with the Sörenberg Card, which you receive when you book with us. Take the opportunity to visit our Mooraculum, the largest adventure park in the Alps on the theme of moorland, or take a trip up the Brienzer Rothorn as a starting point for beautiful hikes and as a guest of the summit restaurant with its culinary offerings and fantastic views. You also have free travel on the Eisee chairlift to the lake and the associated mountain inn, nestled in idyllic natural surroundings. Perhaps you could simply buy a fishing licence and immerse yourself in the peace and quiet of the region.

Location description: Chalet Gemseli is located in Sörenberg near the Reka holiday village, just a two-minute walk from the Sörenberg-Platz chairlift. There is also a bus stop two minutes' walk from the flat. The bus can be used free of charge in winter with a guest card or ski pass.
