Welcome to Scuol, welcome to the "Bogn Engiadina"! Scuol - Motta Naluns - Ftan - Sent mountain railways Summer: Travel comfortably and reliably to where it's most beautiful! Once we arrive at Motta Naluns, we follow an insider tip and ski the long valley runs completely undisturbed very early on. We then explore the extensive ski area between Ftan, Scuol and Sent and enjoy the south-facing location with plenty of light, nature and the impressive panorama. From the spacious children's area to the fun park and the authentic mountain restaurants to the seemingly endless dream piste to Sent, the whole family will get their money's worth. San Jon riding stable The riding stable and saloon, with its unique and unspoilt nature in the immediate vicinity of the national park, makes the hearts of horse lovers beat faster. The offer ranges from one-week youth riding camps, western riding courses, trail riding and riding lessons to hour-long, full-day or multi-day treks.
Excursion options: National Park With the onset of winter from mid-November, the Swiss National Park is covered in a thick blanket of snow. In order not to disturb the animals during this time, the park is closed for the winter. Spring arrives late in the National Park. Nevertheless, the first hiking trails are open again at the end of May and the park opens up in new splendour to the curious visitor, who can once again be inspired by the unique landscape. In the months of July and August, the park presents itself in all its splendour, as this is when the diverse flora in the high alpine location is in full bloom. This is the best time of year for observing wildlife - so don't forget your binoculars on your hike. In autumn, the days get shorter again and the harsh weather heralds the approach of winter. Tarasp Castle The landmark of the Lower Engadine, Tarasp Castle, built in 1040, majestically overlooks the region. Tarasp belonged to Austria until the beginning of the 19th century. At the turn of the 20th century, K.A. Lingner, a spa guest and inventor of Odol mouthwash, bought the castle in a desolate state and renovated it extensively. Since 30 March 2016, the world-famous Engadine artist Not Vital has been the new owner of Tarasp Castle. His vision is to develop Tarasp Castle into a cultural attraction of national and international importance with contemporary art, a sculpture park and a space that remains open to the public. Guided tours of the castle take place regularly, sometimes several times a day in summer. Organ concerts on the melodious wooden organ with 3,000 pipes resound through the walls time and again - in summer and winter - and continue to delight visitors.
