The Marangun alpine hut is located at around 2,100 m above sea level in Val Lavinuoz, a remote side valley of Val Müstair in the canton of Graubünden. The hut is simply furnished and has 6 beds. It is located below the Prasüra alp, where high-quality alp cheese is still produced by hand using traditional methods. The hut can be reached on foot, by bike or by car via a road. The surrounding area is characterized by nature with wide meadows, forests and clear streams. The region is a popular destination for hikers, bikers and nature lovers.Cabin equipment: wooden stove, gas stove, refrigerator, table, bench and chairs, dishes and various pans, 6 mattresses (without bed linen)

Dogs allowed on request. We charge a fee of Fr. 5.00 per dog per night and ask you to bring your own dog bed or blankets.
Access to the Alp Marangun hut is via a forest road that is closed to traffic. The renter receives a driving permit for access to the Alp Marangun hut. The permit is only valid for one vehicle and costs CHF 10.00.
