Holiday home in 8499 Sternenberg, Zurich Oberland, approx. 40 km from Zurich main station and Zurich airport.

Holiday home with honeymoon suite, idyllically situated on the edge of the forest; secluded, but with magnificent panoramic views, ideal for peace, retreat and relaxation in an elegant ambience. - Let like a hotel room with an extensive minibar, but without breakfast. However, the necessary ingredients for a romantic dinner and a hearty breakfast are available in the "minibar" (on the kitchen shelf, in the fridge and in the freezer); we will send you the list. - What you will also find:
- a bedroom with a double bed consisting of two beds, 180 cm wide, electrically adjustable
- particularly high-quality mattresses, solid bed frame made of Swiss stone pine and beech wood

Important information for the winter season:
As soon as there is snow, the dirt track leading to the house is impassable. However, there is always a path to the houses below the holiday home. In winter, you must leave your car in the public car park by the church.

When there is a lot of snow (over 1 metre, especially in January and February), the house is sometimes only accessible with snowshoes.

Excursion possibilities:
Cities of Zurich and Winterthur, extensive cultural programme
Berggasthaus Hörnli (on the hill directly opposite), 8496 Steg. Only accessible on foot. Generally open 7 days a week, except at Christmas. Closed from 18.00 from September to April.
St Iddaburg Inn (white tower of the pilgrimage church can be seen from the house, at the top of a hill to the east), 9534 Gähwil.
Fischingen Benedictine monastery, 8376 Fischingen. The Fischingen Monastery Association runs a seminar hotel, a restaurant, a carpentry workshop, a cultural centre and a school in the monastery buildings. The monastery will be closed from Sunday 24 July to Sunday 7 August.
Steam railway, Bauma: Every first and third Sunday from May to October. All trains run with a steam locomotive and consist of originally restored third-class carriages from around 1900. Tickets at the Bauma, Neuthal, Bäretswil and Hinwil stations, as well as on the train.
