Description

Spacious and cosy 2 1/2 room flat in an impressive Engadine house. The flat faces south-west, is very bright and sunny and offers a beautiful view of the mountains opposite. It is centrally located but still very quiet, shops and railway station are within easy walking distance. The living room, bedroom and kitchen-living room are separate rooms, offering even more comfort and privacy.

The living room has a large panoramic window and two cosy armchairs invite you to enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains. The living room also has a table with chairs, a sofa, coffee table, a Stressless armchair and a TV. The bedroom is furnished with Swiss stone pine furniture typical of the region and offers plenty of wardrobe and storage space. The separate and lockable new kitchen is equipped with the latest appliances, practically furnished and also has a dining table with up to 3 chairs. The bathroom has a bathtub with shower, washbasin and WC. The flat has Swisscom TV and WLAN, both free of charge. The sunny terrace or garden can also be used, and there is a private outdoor car park directly in front of the house.

RhB railway station, shops, slopes and hiking trails within easy walking distance. Family friendly.

On 580 kilometres of hiking trails across all mountains or by mountain bike on 400 kilometres of pleasure trails: the Upper Engadine offers a first-class network of hiking trails and mountain bike trails amidst the pristine mountain world and the inspiring Upper Engadine lake district. The four flow trails on the Corviglia provide the right flow, while the Upper Engadin lakes are also popular with sports enthusiasts. Kitesurfing, sailing, windsurfing, standup paddling: the possibilities are almost endless. The two 18-hole golf courses in Samedan and Zuoz are a particularly impressive way to experience the expanse of the inspiring high valley. And in addition to the wide range of sporting activities on offer, there are also first-class cultural attractions such as a visit to the museum or the numerous art galleries in the various villages.

In winter, 350 kilometres of the finest pistes in the Corviglia, Corvatsch and Diavolezza ski areas and the family-friendly Zuoz invite you to enjoy true skiing and snowboarding fun. Cross-country skiers will find over 220 kilometres of groomed trails in the Upper Engadine and the side valleys. The winter hiking trails and cross-country ski trails on the frozen lakes of the Upper Engadine sparkle with light, sunshine and vastness in the midst of an inspiring mountain world. Those who want to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the snow-covered forests can hike along the 150 km of winter hiking trails in the side valleys of Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever, while those who prefer an overview can enjoy breathtaking views on the panoramic hiking trails high above the lakes on Muottas Muragl. Families can enjoy the Engadin sunshine on a carriage ride into Val Roseg or Val Fex, or sledge down into the valley on the 4.2 km long, winding Muottas Muragl toboggan run.

Village description: Zuoz - customs and traditions in an idyllic mountain village The village of Zuoz is considered to be the most beautiful in the Upper Engadine. Numerous proud patrician houses, such as the Chesa Planta, confidently present their typical bay windows and sgraffito decorations. Mysterious alleyways invite you to explore the village's colourful past. The magnificent 18-hole golf course, the inline skating track and the wide range of hiking and biking options provide a modern splash of colour. A special highlight of Zuoz is a visit to Badilatti, the highest coffee roastery in Europe. In winter, the Engadin Skimarathon cross-country ski trails are right outside the village and the family-friendly ski area offers skiing fun for all levels of ability.
