Description
The holiday home, air-conditioned and comfortable, is situated in a quiet residential area on a hillside with a view of the Lycian coast to the north-east of Kalkan.
The earthquake-proof natural stone house stands on a hillside with a panoramic view of the bay of Kalkan and the Mouse Islands. There are two car parking spaces at the entrance. The terrace, with parasol and a covered area, adjoins the infinity pool and an olive grove. Next to the house is a large pergola area with a fireside barbecue. There are numerous seating areas with tables, loungers, chairs, hammocks and sun loungers and the property is walled and fenced. Pets are allowed with prior notice.
The house consists of a living/kitchen area on the ground floor and sleeping accommodation on the upper floor. Each floor has a bathroom with shower facilities, the hot water is produced by the sun in an environmentally friendly way. There are smoke detectors in every room and satellite TV, a games console and sound bar in the living area, and music can be played via Bluetooth. A large dining table with seating for 8 adjoins the kitchen, which has a dishwasher, oven, gas hob and microwave. All bathrooms have a rain shower and the bedrooms are each equipped with a double bed (1.80 m) or two single beds (90 cm) and wardrobes. Rain showers are available in the bathrooms.
The distance to the nearest beach is about 2000m. There are 3 beaches directly in Kalkan, then the Kaputaj beach 10km away, on the way to Kas 2 additional beaches each 20 and 25 km away and the large Patara beach behind the Patara ruins about 15 km away, but there is an entrance fee.
Due to the high altitude, the road has a steep gradient. We strongly recommend hiring a car, as most of the routes are longer through the mountainous landscape and an additional sleeping place can be organised on request.
