Finest Retreats are delighted to introduce Serenity Valley, a magnificent residence in The Woodlands House and Estate in Berrynarbor, Devon for up to seven guests. The magical setting is situated within six acres, with an acre of private ground reserved for your stay surrounded by rural outlook and woodland. As darkness falls, settle down for a night relaxing under the stars by the firepit, toast some marshmallows, enjoy a movie on the 16ft outdoor movie screen or simply splendour the dark skies.

The large fully equipped kitchen provides all you need for a comfortable self-catered stay. Enjoy the surrounding woodland view, or dine alfresco on the patio, with an enclosed top lawn area ideal for little ones to play and dogs to explore. For nature enthusiasts’ wildlife, including deer, pheasants, hedgehogs, and various birds, can be spotted from the private garden.

The detached property can sleep up to seven guests over four bedrooms. One master super king room, which can be split into a twin on request, with two further king size bedrooms and a fourth single bedroom. You’ll find a large family bathroom with a Victorian cast iron bath and rain shower, plus an additional downstairs WC.

The village of Berrynarbor, surrounded by steeply wooded valleys, lies in the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between Ilfracombe and Combe Martin. A secluded, peaceful village location, yet only five minutes’ drive away from the cosmopolitan seaside town of Ilfracombe on the rugged North Devon coastline. A pretty fishing harbour surrounded by towering cliffs, it provides beautiful coastal scenery for walkers and cyclists as well as boasting a great selection of attractions. Explore Watermouth Castle a short 1 mile from the estate, a Victorian Castle full of eclectic treasures, vintage curios, rides, play areas, and beautiful landscaped gardens.

Beachgoers will be spoilt for choice with Devon’s coastline wide stretches of sand as well as a plethora of hidden coves, perfect for picnics and rock-pooling when the tide goes out. Ideal for younger guests and four legged friends to join in the family fun!
