Description
Description
Welcome to The Chapel. This historic building offers a comfortable base for a Norfolk holiday. It provides plenty of space for friends and family to relax and explore the area.
Inside, the property shows thoughtful conversion work that makes the most of its original chapel design. The open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area has high ceilings and a layout that encourages time together. The kitchen is equipped with an electric range cooker and hob, microwave, and dishwasher, with a utility room that includes a fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. The dining table seats eight, and the lounge has three sofas and a Smart TV for streaming.
The mezzanine level has a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. On the ground floor are two twin rooms, one with an en-suite shower, a bunk bedroom with a TV/DVD player and en-suite shower, and another twin room with access to a separate shower room.
Outside, French doors lead to an enclosed courtyard patio with garden furniture and a gas BBQ for outdoor dining.
On-street parking is available in front of the property, and additional parking is next door at the Village Hall, which operates an honesty box system (recommended £10 for 7 days).
Just next door, The Hall opens its bar every Friday evening from 6pm, welcoming everyone for a relaxed local get-together. You’ll also find a visiting food truck parked outside each Friday night, serving up a rotating menu of delicious dishes — something new to try each week!
At the far end of the village, there’s a spacious children’s playground and a large open field that’s perfect for letting dogs run free off-lead.
Nearby, the local farm shop (just around the corner from The Chapel) offers a wonderful selection of homegrown and locally made produce, including jams, meats, milk, vegetables, and freshly baked bread. It’s unmanned and runs on an honesty-box system, giving you a charming taste of village life.
