Description
Nestled along a secluded private track, Corrennie School Cottage is a charming, detached, single-storey stone retreat in a soft cream hue, adorned with roses around the door—simply enchanting! Sheltered and serene, the cottage boasts a picturesque private garden at the front, accessible through French doors from the living room, leading to a patio and lawn complete with a table and chairs for relaxed outdoor dining.
Inside, stylish contemporary tones blend seamlessly with plush sofas, comfortable beds, and a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area, ensuring a truly enjoyable stay. The inviting living room, featuring a high ceiling and a wood burner set within a stone surround, is the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring this untouched corner of Scotland. You will find private parking for 3 cars during your stay.
Situated in the heart of Aberdeenshire—often referred to as ‘Castle Country’—the area is rich in history, boasting more castles per acre than anywhere else in the UK. Follow Scotland’s Castle Trail to discover 19 of the most remarkable and dramatic castles, including nearby highlights such as Craigievar, Kildrummie, Drum Castle, and, of course, the renowned Balmoral.
For those seeking adventure beyond castles, the region offers an abundance of activities. Enjoy excellent golf courses, superb fishing, and scenic hillwalking, or venture into the breathtaking Cairngorms National Park, where stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife, and outdoor pursuits await. Whisky enthusiasts can embark on the famous Whisky Trail, beginning in Dufftown and winding through Aberlour to Grantown on Spey, offering a fascinating journey through Scotland’s whisky heartland.
