Niedernsill is a picturesque holiday place in the heart of the Austrian Alps, equally likely in summer as well as winter. The Zell am See-Kaprun ski area has 97 km of slopes for cross country skiing. Skiers can take advantage of the two ski resorts that are within easy reach at a distance of 12 km. In high season, the ski area of nearby Walchen is also a great challenge for little skiers or beginners. In summer, there are many sports and hiking opportunities, and you can quickly reach most of the sights that Salzburgerland has to offer.
