The famous Roman Colosseum is the center of the cultural summer festival held each year, with concerts, ballet, operas, film festivals etc.. For the nature lovers the following destinations are definitively worth a day trip: Nature park Cape Kamenjak - peninsula of Kamenjak, a wonder of nature’s architecture, is situated at the South of Istria, near to a site called Premantura. National park Brijuni, with its natural, cultural and historical heritage, is another attractive site in the region. Children will certainly be challenged to visit the Dinopark in Funtana , the first amusement and theme park in Croatia where life-size dinosaurs are the main topic, otherwise the sea world presented in the Pula Aquarium, or aqua park in Novigrad.
