The holiday home is located away from the noise and tourist crowds in the charming town of Donja Krušica on the island of Šolta in the Adriatic Sea in Dalmatia. If you are looking for a quiet place to spend your holiday away from the noise and crowds, this is the right place for you. Guests can experience true island life: a simple, healthy, and traditional way of life. Here you will find peace, nature, privacy, and, above all, beautiful views of the sea, mountains, and towns of the island. The swimming pool is open from June 1 to October 1, weather permitting. Parking is available. The house was built in 2013/2014 and is spread over two floors. It offers two separate apartments, each with its own entrance, and a shared garden and barbecue area. One apartment is located on the ground floor, and the second apartment is on the first floor. Booking options are available for the separate apartments (Apartment A or Apartment B, each for 6 people) or for the house (for 12 people), depending on the season. Donja Krušica has several boat moorings about 200 meters from the house, making it an ideal spot for sunbathing. The water is clean and transparent, and there is also a natural beach (a 10-minute walk from the house) where you can enjoy the peace and quiet, the stunning views, and the beautiful, clean sea. Šolta is blessed with small, public beaches where you can enjoy nature, the crystal-clear sea, and plenty of privacy. There is a diving center in Maslinica where you can rent diving equipment or learn to dive. Donja Krušica does not have supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, etc. For your shopping, we recommend going to Grohote, which is about a 10-minute drive away. There are two large shops, a bakery, a fish market, a butcher's shop, a market, a post office, a pharmacy, and a newsagent. There are ATMs in Grohote, Rogac, and Stomorska, as well as an exchange office in Grohote, Rogac, and Maslinica. Modern medical facilities are available in Grohote if you need medical assistance. If you're looking for fun, we recommend visiting Necujam, where you'll find a swimming pool, tennis and volleyball courts, a disco, a pizzeria, cafes, and a pastry shop. The house is located about 45 meters above sea level, 200 meters from the sea (20% gradient), and therefore is not suitable for disabled people, the very elderly, or those with walking difficulties. Each apartment and the garden are also full of stairs. Please also note that the nearest public transport is approximately 2 km from the house (in Donje Selo), and that it is best for guests to arrive by car. The distance from Donje Selo to Donja Krušica is not far, but it is along a steep road (gradient of 11%), so it is not easy to carry heavy items. The house cannot be reached by public bus. The nearest bus stop is Donje Selo, about 2 km from the house. The road leading from Donje Selo to Donja Krušica is narrow, and there are extensions every 10-20 meters, allowing cars to pass each other. Any standard car can pass the aforementioned road. There may be some problems with very low and very wide vehicles (e.g., vans) for inexperienced drivers. In this case, guests can park their car at the Donja Krušica port, where there is a free public parking lot, and the host will be happy to transport your luggage from the port to your accommodation. The distance from the Donja Krušica port is approximately 500 meters.

We attract guests that wish to bring their families on the island to get a taste of true island living: a simple, healthy and traditional life. Donja Krušica has several pears located 200m from the house and it is perfect places for suntaning. Water is clean and transparent, also there is one natural beach (10 minutes walking from the house) where you can enjoy in peace, magnificent view and beautiful clean sea. Šolta is full of small, public beaches where you can enjoy in nature, crystal sea and intimacy. In Maslinica you have diving center where you can rent diving equipment or and learn how to dive. Donja Krušica does not have any super market, cafe bar, restaurant etc. For supplies we recommend you to go at Grohote, which is far 10 minutes by car. There are two big shops, bakery, fish market, butcher's shop, open market, post office, pharmacy and newspaper shop. There are ATM-s in Grohote, Rogac and Stomorska, and exchange office in Grohote, Rogac and Maslinica. In Grohote, there is modern ambulance, in case you need medical help. If you want to have fun, we recommend you to visit Necujam, where are swimming pool, tennis and volleyball playgrounds, discotheque, pizzeria, cafes and confectionery shop. Vila Vita consists of 2 apartments that are situated in the same building and have separate private entrances. One apartment is on the ground floor while another is on the first floor. If you rent Vila Vita you rent booth apartments. Vila Vita consist of: 6 bedrooms, 2 bathroom + extra toilet near swimming pool, 2 kitchen, 2 living room, 2 balcony + garden 2 baby cribs Beautiful garden with swimming pool and barbecue. Maximum capacity of Vila Vita is 10 persons (including kids). Swimming pool is in used only during the season more or less from mid May – mid October. This also deepens of weather and how apartments are booked. The usage of the swimming pool could be postponed for week or two. In that case you will be informed in advance via email. House is situated around 45 meters above sea level, 200m from the sea, (inclination 20%) and because of that it is not suitable for the disabled person, very old people or people who have problems with walking. Also, each apartment and the garden are full of stairs so please be aware of that. Please also note that nearest public transport is 2km away from the house (in Donje Selo) and that it would be best option if the guest will come with their car. Please note that distance from Donje Selo to Donja Krušica seems to be short but it is ”steep road” (inclination is around 11%) so you will have difficulties with walking/carrying heavy things. From Rogac you can drive by car to Grohote, where you turn right to Donje Selo. There is a road from Doje Selo to bay Donja Krušica. Whole way by car, from Rogac to Donja Krušica, last around 15 minutes. Island Šolta has a public bus transport as the taxi service but if you want to rent a car you should do it in Split and transport it by ferry to the island. With public bus you can’t reach the house. Nearest place where bus stops is Donje Selo. House is not so easy to find that is why we will contact you few days before your arrival and pick you up in Donje Selo in front of yellow church. The only, and official road that leads from Donje Selo to Donja Krušica is narrow (inclination is around 11%) and there are road extensions every 10-20 m so that cars can pass each other. Every normal passenger car is able to pass the above-mentioned road. There could be some problems with extreme low and extreme wide cars (eg. van) if driver is unexperienced. In that case if the guests want to be safe they can leave their personal cars in the Donja Krušica harbor where there is a public free parking and the host will transfer guests personal belongings from port to apartment with their personal car. Distance from the Donja Krušica harbor to the Vila Vita is about 500m.
