Trogir is a charming medieval town located on the central Adriatic coast of Croatia, famous for its city center which has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1997 due to its many historical landmarks such as the Cathedral of St. Lawrence, Duke’s palace, city gates and the Kamerlengo fortress, which is also why the city is often described as an “outdoor museum”. Trogir is located on a small island between the island of Ciovo and mainland, connected on both sides with bridges. The city is conveniently situated in the proximity of Split airport (3 km), which makes it easily reachable and thus a perfect holiday destination. The town is also a great starting point for visiting and exploring other cities such as Split (30 km), Šibenik (48 km), Zadar (130 km) and Dubrovnik (245 km) but also national parks and other natural landmarks in central Dalmatia.
