The holiday apartment

Holiday apartment of 53 square meters on the ground floor, located right by the beach and close to the center of Kerteminde. The apartment is furnished with a living room with a double sofa and TV, an open, fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom. From the living room, there is access to a private terrace with panoramic views of the water. From the apartment, you can stroll along the beach promenade to the fishing harbor and further into the charming town center. The apartment is right next to the forest Lundsgaardskoven and Klinten, which is a popular spot for divers and anglers.

The area

Kerteminde is one of the small gems of Funen. The town isn't very large but has everything you need for a lovely vacation. To the north and south of the town, you'll find Kerteminde's two fantastic beaches. The north beach is the most child-friendly and very popular among tourists and locals. During the summer, lifeguards keep a watchful eye on the bathers from the distinctive red and white lifeguard tower. After a wonderful beach trip, it's only a few minutes' walk to the charming town center. Here, you have great opportunities to browse in exciting specialty shops and enjoy a lunch at one of the many restaurants and cafes. At the new Renaissance harbor, you can savor an ice cream or a cup of coffee while watching the small boats passing by. At Fjord&Bælt, you can bring the whole family and get up close to porpoises and seals. At the Johannes Larsen Museum, the famous painter's home is on display, along with a large, modern exhibition building featuring changing art exhibitions. Don't forget to visit the Coffee House, which arguably offers the town's most beautiful view. A little outside Kerteminde, you'll find the Ladby Viking Museum. During the summer, there are plenty of exciting Viking events that kids will love.
