Welcome to this cosy holiday home set in the scenic surroundings of Mårup Forest on Samsø. Here, you’ll be staying just 100 metres from a lovely sandy beach and right in the heart of a protected nature reserve, where forest, heather and the sea provide the perfect backdrop for a relaxing holiday filled with peace and tranquillity.

Inside
The holiday home sleeps 5 guests and exudes a classic holiday home feel with timber walls, wooden ceilings and a warm, cosy atmosphere. The house features an open-plan kitchen-diner and a cosy living room, where the large windows let in plenty of light and bring nature right up close. From the dining area and living room, there is direct access to the terrace, and on warm days you can open the patio doors so that the indoor and outdoor spaces blend together.

The kitchen is functionally equipped with, among other things, a dishwasher and an oven, so you can easily prepare your holiday meals whilst the rest of the family enjoys themselves around the dining table. In the living room, you can relax in the comfortable furniture, enjoy the view of the forest or light the wood-burning stove on chilly days.

The house has three cosy bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with a bunk bed and one with a single bed. The bathroom is classic and functional, with a view of the forest.

Outside
you can enjoy your holiday on the partially covered south-facing terrace, which features garden furniture, shelter and views of the green surroundings. The terrace continues around the house to the east, where you can sit completely undisturbed and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature.
The garden is fenced, making the house particularly suitable for families with children or guests bringing a dog. Dogs are welcome in the holiday home, so the whole family can holiday together.
The area around Mårup Forest is particularly popular for its peaceful atmosphere and beautiful nature. All the holiday homes are built with grass roofs and blend naturally into the landscape. From here, it is a short distance to the beach, the forest and charming villages.

Samsø
Nearby, you’ll find Nordby with its iconic bell tower, cosy cafés and small shops, as well as Mårup Harbour with its marina, restaurant and lovely walking routes.

Samsø is ideal for exploring by bike or on foot, and the island’s varied landscape offers everything from hills and woods to coastlines and small, charming villages. Visit Issehoved, the island’s northernmost point, for example, or take a trip to Ballen, where summer life buzzes around the harbour, restaurants and small shops.
