General:
We really enjoyed the peaceful and private setting of this property. Although the owners live right next door, they gave us plenty of privacy, and having our own private driveway was very convenient. We were warmly welcomed with a bottle of rosé, fresh eggs and homemade jam, which was a lovely touch. The living room and kitchen were spacious, and the swimming pool was clean and enjoyable. The bathroom is very small and could use some renovation. The shower in particular is quite cramped, the flooring is coming loose, water gets everywhere when showering, and there was quite a bit of mould. The house was reasonably clean overall, although there were a lot of cobwebs in various corners. The location is quite remote, so expect a fairly long drive to supermarkets, bakeries and other amenities. However, if you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern life, the peaceful and off-the-grid setting is definitely part of the charm.

Anfangs hatte ich Bedenken wegen des Platzes, aber es stellte sich heraus, dass genug Raum für uns alle vorhanden war. Ich fand den Hochstuhl und das Kinderbett für unser Kleines besonders hilfreich. Alles war gut durchdacht für Familien.

Das Zimmer bot alles, was wir benötigten und war sehr einladend. Die Küche machte das gemeinsame Kochen leicht. Morgens verbrachten wir Zeit auf dem Balkon bei einer Tasse Kaffee. Es fühlte sich sofort wie Zuhause an.

Vi hade en fantastisk vistelse på detta härliga semesterhem! Den privata poolen var en hit med barnen, och vi tillbringade timmar med att njuta av de soliga eftermiddagarna, Kök var fullt utrustat, vilket gjorde det enkelt att laga mat, Det närliggande bageriet hade de bästa croissanter, perfekta för våra frukostar! Skulle definitivt rekommendera för familjer som vill koppla av i en fredlig miljö

Mooie accommodatie met charmante interieurs! We hielden van de open keuken en de ruime slaapkamers, De gastheren waren vriendelijk en responsief toen we vragen hadden, Het is een geweldige uitvalsbasis voor het verkennen van de Dordogne-regio, We bezocht Sarlat-la-Canéda, dat ongeveer een uur rijden was, maar het was het zeker waard, Over het algemeen een aangename ervaring met alles wat we nodig hadden voor een comfortabel verblijf

Mooi vakantiehuis. Alles tiptop in orde. Vriendelijke eigenaars die naast het huisje wonen met hun hond Petrus. Je ziet ze enkel als er een probleem is. Verder respecteren ze je privacy en heb je een eigen ingang naar het domein zodat je elkaar niet moet kruisen. Handig is ook dat je auto onder een overdekte schuur mag staan. De vele extraatjes (wc papier, keukenrol, koffiefilters en beetje koffie,...) was zeker aangenaam. Ook de ontvangst met een fles wijn en zelfgemaakte confituur was zeer attent. Wifi werkt goed maar je mag wel niet met teveel tegelijk films zien. Enkele dingen voor de kinderen aanwezig, alsook boeken in het Frans en 3tal in het Nederlands. Ze geven ook meteen flyers van dingen in de regio Dordogne. Op donderdagavond van 18u30 is er een plaatselijke markt in Laboujac zelf. Verder hebben wij "snelle boodschappen" gedaan in Villefranche du Perigord waar je 2 kleinere supermarkten vind. De grote supermarkten zijn we in Montayral gaan doen deze ligt op 20 a 30min afstand. We hebben genoten van ons verlof

We hielden van het interieurontwerp van het huis! Het was gezellig en voelde als een tweede thuis, We genoten vooral van de avonden bij de open haard, De nabijgelegen attracties waren ook een leuke bonus

Very nice accommodations, and friendly owners, Even in summer, the house stays fairly cool. Owners live the next house over but are very respectful of your privacy and peace and quiet. Only downside I can think of is there's a big fig tree close to the house that attracts a lot of wasps and hornets so not ideal if you're afraid of those.
