'Scotties Castle' is situated on a hill in a quiet part of the small village of St-Antonin-du-Var, in the south of France. It has panoramic views of the vineyards, at a great location near a bakery and a small supermarket in the centre. The house is ideal for friends or families. The coast and beaches are about 45 minutes away by car, in St. Maxime or St. Tropez. The cities of Cannes and Nice are also nearby and ideal for a day trip. St. Antonin is a historical village in Provence, close to Entrecastaux, Villecreuze, Cotignac and Correns. Wine tasting in Chateaux de Berne or a visit to the artistic village of Tourtour is also very much worthwhile. The weekly market in Lorgues (3 km) is one of the largest in the Provence. The region offers fantastic summers with lots of sun and few insects or wind compared to other regions. Enjoy the private pool and light up the barbecue on the terrace for an unforgettable summer evening. The bedrooms on the second floor are air-conditioned. With three heat pumps added to the living room, bedroom, and TV room, you could easily safeguard yourself from the bittering cold outside.
