Completely ecologically renovated half-timbered house with very tasteful furnishings and plenty of space in 4 bedrooms. It is part of a four-sided courtyard, the property of which borders directly on the small river Löcknitz, which meanders parallel to the Elbe. You only have to cross a small side street and you come to the river, where you will find an orchard and a nice seating area. The charming town of Lenzen, with its castle that can be seen from afar, is considered the gateway to the natural paradise of the Elbe Valley. In addition to a restaurant and a rowing boat rental, the castle also houses the Center for European Floodplain Ecology and you can find out about all the special features of your holiday region. Highlights included: Wi-Fi Activities nearby: On a stroll through Lenzen, you can discover the town hall from 1713, St. Catherine's Church with architectural forms from the 13th century, remains of the city gate from the 14th century and the old city moat. Cycling tours through the Elbe foreland or to the dike relocation areas near the Lenzen Elbe ferry are also possible. The idyllic Rudower Lake, which belongs to Lenzen, has an area of 180 hectares - great for swimming, fishing and boating. The local flora and fauna can be observed on the romantic lakeside hiking trail - especially in autumn, when the geese and cranes migrate.
