Die Privatunterkunft befindet sich in einer der schönsten Gegenden von Sachsen - der Oberlausitz – der sanft hügeligen Region des Lausitzer Berglandes. Diese einzigartige Lage garantiert Ruhe, Entspannung oder auch aktive Erholung. Die Privatunterkunft wurde im 18. Jahrhundert erbaut und fortan wohnten ortsansässige Jäger darin. In den Jahren 1997/98 wurde es komplett renoviert und ausgebaut. Der durch das Grundstück fließende Bach Flössel schafft ein angenehmes Klima und spendet Entspannung und Kraft zugleich. Der von Quellwasser gespeiste See lädt Mutige zum Baden ein. Im Winter ist das Waldhaus der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Skiwanderungen durch die umliegenden Wälder im Landschaftsschutzgebiet Mittellausitzer Bergland.
