Charming holiday complex in an idyllic location by the edge of a forest on a large site, for discovering the surroundings on hiking and cycling tours, watching migrating birds in the autumn, going on cultural trips to surrounding castles and monasteries, or enjoying a romantic evening in the fireplace dining room The lovely holiday complex is in Kappe, part of Zehdenick, also fondly called “the little gateway to the Schorfheide”. The complex spans an area of 4000m and has a holiday house, a guest room and a holiday apartment for a total of ten adults. Please note that all the accommodation is non-smoking. Along with the idyllic location by the edge of the forest, the magnificent mature trees and the many sunny areas on site, the owners offer everything you need for a perfect and relaxing holiday. In November 2016 the owners opened their Swiss fireplace dining room and would be happy to welcome you as their guests. You can enjoy culinary specialities here from the Alpine regions. It offers a different three-course menu every day including water and an alcoholic drink. Let yourselves be surprised on Friday and Saturday from 18.00 or Sujnday from 11.00. The owners also offer a three-day angel workshop (payable). Various types of forest items and wood can be made into creative angel figures. Guests of any age can enjoy making them, as only creativity counts. If you would like to explore the surroundings by horse, you can book riding excursions in pristine nature, as well as cart rides for an unforgettable day. The complex is nestled into the picturesque forest and meadow landscape of the Schorfheide biosphere reserve, offering an optimal starting point for extensive walks and cycle tours, as well as a variety of sports activities and water sports, such as paddling, jogging and fishing. The countless lakes and ponds in the north of Zehdenick form a picturesque landscape and also pay testimony to the mining of clay in the region, which is under protection as part of the Uckermärkische Seen nature reserve. In late summer and autumn the area has a lot to offer mushroom and blueberry gatherers, as well as bird enthusiasts, as thousands of migrating birds can be observed all around the lakes on their way south. Culture lovers can go on trips to Berlin, to the castles at Rheinsberg and Meseberg, the Chorin and Zehdenick monasteries and the Ziegeleipark Mildenberg, to name but a few of the options.

The 78m² apartment has a lovely living room-kitchen and a cosy conservatory with a fireplace stove for relaxing. It can accommodate a maximum of four people with two bedrooms, of which a bedroom with a double bed and a fireplace and a twin room. The light bathroom has a WC, bath and shower. The living room-kitchen provides all the necessary kitchen utensils, a fridge and freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave, a pizza oven and a stove with two cooking rings. It is therefore perfectly equipped for self-catering. The dining table invites you to enjoy meals together after cooking. A radio and a TV are provided and you can use Wi-Fi free of charge.
